Tips on mopping tile floors

Is it the same procedure to mop a vinyl floor than it is for a tiled surface? Believe it or not there is a difference when mopping a “recessed” tile floor compared to a smooth vinyl one.

You can use literally any kind of mop on smooth regular surfaces because cleaning agent will always be in direct contact with the surface in question (whether you use a string mop or a microfiber pad). On the other hand, a tiled floor has what I would call, “recessed” ridges. I’m talking about the grout lines that due to the lower height compared to the rest of the tile, are more difficult to get to and therefore you’re restricted to only using two methods to clean it- the classic string mop and the electrical vibrating steam machine with deep microfiber pads.
